All Mementos Locations in 007 First Light

In addition to telling the origin story of the iconic film character, 007 First Light, the new James Bond game features collectible items—a nice bonus that adds depth to the universe’s lore. While finding them all on your first playthrough can be quite challenging, this guide will show you how to locate every memento in 007 First Light.

How Many Mementos in 007 First Light and Where to Find Them

There are a total of 14 mementos hidden throughout 007 First Light, scattered across various in-game locations as you progress through the story. Some chapters contain two mementos, but usually, there is just one per chapter. They are quite hard to miss since these collectibles often take the form of very unusual items.

Where Exactly to Find All Mementos in 007 First Light

The first memento can be found right in the very first chapter of the game, Against the Odds. It’s a fragment of a satellite, which you can spot on a table after climbing into container G9.

The next collectible appears much later, in the sixth chapter, A Night Out. This one is an ordinary napkin located behind the bar counter.

In the eighth chapter, All the Time in the World, you get the chance to pick up two mementos for the first time. To make sure you don’t miss anything, once you’re inside the hotel, look for a door marked Staff Only. Inside that room, on a chair with a wooden pipe, you’ll find the Pillow Mint. Note that you’ll need to steal the key to this room from one of the staff members.

Later in the same chapter, at the location where the chess game takes place, look for two large screens. Near the left one, there’s a narrow passage. Go backstage and take another corridor around, and you’ll find the championship badge resting on a crate. That was the fourth memento.

The next two mementos are found in Chapter Ten, The Past Never Dies. The first on the list is the Pirate Grillz. To get them, you need to first save up $100,000 and then purchase them from the vendor at the market.

The second collectible is the Crocodile Tooth. At a certain point in the chapter, when you're supposed to get into the Land Rover, don’t do that just yet. Instead, check the area behind the vehicle. That's exactly where you’ll find the memento—lying on a crate.

Like in Chapter Ten, Chapter Eleven in 007 First Light, titled Uninvited, also features two mementos, but they are a bit trickier to find. The first collectible here is the Anniversary Pin, hidden in one of the rooms. At a certain point in the mission, Bond will need to sneak into the security room. However, before doing that, head to the press tour. After disabling the circuit breaker and distracting the guard, make your way backstage until you reach a door marked Staff Only. Following a confrontation with the guard, you'll spot the Anniversary Pin resting on a stand—grab it to add to your collection.

The second collectible item in this chapter is the Tero Murto Locket, which you can obtain after fighting Murto. It's located on the table in Room 3 Restoration, but first, you need to access Room 4 Restoration and open the metal box to get the keycard for the room mentioned earlier.

Chapter 12, titled Knightfall, contains only one memento, which is the Office Toy. After climbing into the ventilation shaft, turn left—you will then enter an office where you’ll find the collectible resting on the counter.

The next collectible awaits us in Chapter Fourteen of the game, titled Time to Die. During the QTE scene where Bond needs to tie his tie, be sure to check the nightstand to the right of the bed—that's where you'll find our memento, the Diving Watch.

Chapter 15 of 007 First Light, Man of the Hour, also includes only one memento. After watching the cutscene, head down the stairs, where you’ll find the Niko Murto Locket resting on the table next to Basil.

Players will find two mementos waiting for them in the sixteenth chapter, Wave of the Future. The first collectible item, the Snow Globe, is located at the reception desk.

The second memento on this level is easy to miss. After Bond reaches the lower level by ziplining down and climbs out of the ventilation shaft into the office, you should turn around. On the podium there, you'll find the Robot Keychain.

The final, fourteenth memento awaits players on the For England level. After reaching the Q laboratory, head to the Q-07 Wearables section. The collectible item, Dashboard Toy, can be found on a small coffee table there.

Once you find the last memento, you'll unlock the Recovered Assets achievement. And even if you missed something during your playthrough, you can always go back and find it by using Select Chapter. You can also check out:

007 First Light is the latest title from IO Interactive, the developers of the Hitman game series, released on May 27 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The game is also confirmed to release on Switch 2, but the release date for Nintendo’s platform is currently unknown. The game has also recently sold over 3 million copies worldwide, and there are conversations from Amazon, the franchise owners, that the sequel might be in development soon enough - but there is a chance IO Interactive will not serve as its developers.
