In IO Interactive’s new video game, 007 First Light, we get to see the origin story of James Bond, who isn’t yet as skilled or agile as the iconic character portrayed in the numerous films. However, he already possesses hand-to-hand combat skills, has access to several cool gadgets, and can even defuse bombs—provided you follow the correct sequence of actions, of course.

How to Defuse the Bomb in 007 First Light

The bomb defusal moment takes place in 007 First Light during the mission "All the Time in the World," where you must complete a specific sequence of actions to succeed. It's important to note that players have only 30 seconds, and a single wrong choice will force you to start over. To defuse the bomb correctly in 007 First Light, you need to perform the following steps in this order:

• Pull out the Battery
• Pull out the Motherboard
• Pull out the Wires
• Pull the Red and Green Wires

If you somehow make the wrong choice, a game over screen will appear displaying the message "Bond was killed."

007 First Light is the latest title from IO Interactive, the developers of the Hitman game series, released on May 27 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The game is also confirmed to release on Switch 2, but the release date for Nintendo’s platform is currently unknown. The game has also recently sold over 3 million copies worldwide, and there are conversations from Amazon, the franchise owners, that the sequel might be in development soon enough - but there is a chance IO Interactive will not serve as its developers.
