The Blood of Dawnwalker Gets an Exciting New Trailer with a Modern-Day Twist

In September of this year, several major projects will be released, including Marvel's Wolverine, Control Resonant, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, as well as a new RPG from former developers of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - The Blood of Dawnwalker, new look at which was presented on Summer Game Fest.

In addition to fresh gameplay footage of the game, which will include a look at The Blood of Dawnwalker's combat system and especially its main villain, Brencis, another clip confirms that the events of the game are somehow connected to the present time. We see a scene where a courier brings the protagonist, Coeen, fresh blood, which lays the foundation for a potential sequel to the game, the events of which take place in the modern world. This is also indicated by the video description - The Blood of Dawnwalker is only the beginning, and the trailer title - 'The Dawnwalker Saga'. This is a rather unexpected move on the part of the developers—to transfer the events of the game to a modern setting—since it was previously confirmed that the events of The Blood of Dawnwalker take place in 14th-century Europe, and this certainly piqued the interest of an even larger number of players. Recently, Rebel Wolves also shared that immediately after completing the game’s prologue, gamers will be able to fight the main villain, Brencis, by heading to the corresponding point on the map. But since completing the game will take more than 50 hours and will include many additional storylines, the developers recommend exploring the game world first.
