Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Reportedly Delayed to 2027

With the State of Play showcase set to begin in just 90 minutes, new information has emerged regarding Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, one of Crystal Dynamics’ highly anticipated upcoming titles. Alongside new screenshots and details on game editions, disappointing news regarding the release date has also come to light.

While it was previously established that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis was slated for a 2026 launch —a timeline supported by a recent Embracer financial report—a now-deleted Amazon page indicates that the game has been pushed to February 10, 2027.

As the report indicates, the Deluxe edition of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will offer players 2-day early access to the game, as well as a story DLC and an additional outfit. Moreover, you will receive the Lara Croft outfit from Tomb Raider (2013) if you pre-order. Crystal Dynamics has yet to comment on this leak. While previous rumors suggested that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis might be delayed until 2027, the aforementioned Embracer financial report has provided fans with renewed optimism that this will not be the case. It appears that the plans of Crystal Dynamics and the publisher may have shifted.

As noted, the upcoming State of Play event is approaching; given that the leak concerning a potential delay of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis surfaced just before the event, it is highly likely that we will see a new trailer and, quite possibly, the official confirmation of a release date.

Besides Legacy of Atlantis, Crystal Dynamics is also developing Tomb Raider: Catalyst—the next mainline title in the game series, which is also a sequel to 2008’s Tomb Raider: Underworld. There is also a Tomb Raider TV series in development by Amazon starring Sophie Turner as Lara Croft.
