Pearl Abyss Released Hotfix 1.05.01 for Crimson Desert’s Latest Update

On May 2, Pearl Abyss released a new, massive update for Crimson Desert, which not only fixed a lot of technical issues but also has a positive impact on gameplay. The standout feature of Patch Notes Version 1.05.00 is the ability to recapture territories after losing them and to replay boss battles.

The developers also added new kinds of legendary animals and pets and recently announced hotfix 1.05.01 is related to this. Specifically, the studio fixed a bug that players encountered when summoning new pets, as well as other issues. It is now available on PC (Steam, Mac, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and soon will be available on Xbox Series X/S and Mac App Store. For the full list of fixes, you can check out below:

“Fellow Greymanes, Here are the fixes and improvements that have been added this patch.

• Fixed an issue where, under certain circumstances, ongoing dispatch missions would be canceled and the resources and contribution spent upon dispatch would not be restored.
• Contribution that was not restored due to this issue will be restored in the next patch. We apologize for the inconvenience.
• Fixed an issue where pets could not be summoned under certain conditions.”

Crimson Desert players also recently found a mystery location—a village located outside the gaming zone. The fans have speculated that it looks too polished to be cut, and they hope this settlement will appear in future updates or DLC.

Besides releasing updates for Crimson Desert, Pearl Abyss is also working on their next title, DokeV, announced back in 2019. It's an open-world action-adventure video game featuring Dokebi—Korean folklore creatures that gain strength from people’s dreams and collide together on their adventures. The release date of the game is currently planned no earlier than 2027 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
