Pearl Abyss Might Have Cut an Entire Village from Crimson Desert

The game world of Crimson Desert is so large that some parts of the map appear to have been cut from the final version of the RPG, or perhaps were intentionally removed. A new discovery made by players offers a glimpse of a fully-fledged village that was originally inaccessible within the map’s boundaries.

Specifically, it was discovered by Reddit user RazielOfBoletaria, which clearly showed that there is an entire unused village in Crimson Desert, located in the snow-covered area north of Silver Wolf Mountain. Unfortunately, since the location is outside the accessible zone, you can only stay there for 30 seconds, but enthusiasts have found a way to get around this by using photo mode.

As the user notes, the location looks incredibly well-crafted and features a high level of detail. Inside the buildings, you can spot chests, weapons, and other items. You can check out more detailed information in the Reddit post below:

"I found an entire unused village hidden behind a mountain while exploring out of bounds

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to reset the countdown timer in this area, which means there's no time to explore the village properly. However, I went back there a few more times and had a look around in Photo Mode, and it looks nearly finished. There's even a notice board there, with posters that you can't pick up.

I uploaded a longer video on YT showing the full unedited flight (takes about 2 and a half minutes), and explaining how to get there, along with a few more clips of my other attempts."

The player also shared a video offering a closer look at the location, while other fans speculate that this location might be used in upcoming updates or even expansions for Crimson Desert. However, it could also be cut content, remnants of which have been discovered.

Also, Pearl Abyss recently released a new update for Crimson Desert— Patch Notes Version 1.05.00 —which introduces a territory capture feature, making the game world more dynamic. The update also adds the ability to refight previously defeated bosses, new legendary creatures, new pets, and more.
