Bethesda Game Studios Is Planning to Support Fallout 76 as Studio Has “Ideas for Years”

After last year’s confirmation from Bethesda boss Todd Howard, that Fallout game series is the studio’s priority at the moment, even more than Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI. Obviously, this also applies to Fallout 76—the franchise’s first multiplayer title.

Over the past six months or so, Bethesda has released several major updates for the game that significantly expand its capabilities. For example, last December saw the release of the Burning Springs expansion, which adds a new play area, Ohio, along with new enemies and events. And in a new interview with Insider Gaming, Fallout 76 Creative Director Jon Rush stated that the studio has plenty of ideas for expanding the game in the coming years, as you can check out below:

“When we’re so full of creative and talented people as we are at Bethesda Game Studios, it’s more of a problem of having too many great ideas and only so much time over the course of the year to do them.

We have ideas for years down the road. We’re making the game bigger, better, more fun, more accessible, so it only gets better from here.”

The latest expansion to Fallout 76, The Backwoods, was released on March 3, in which the main highlight was the appearance of a new boss—Bigfoot. The next update is expected to be released sometime this summer, but the details remain unknown.

As for other Fallout installments, Bethesda is rumored to be working on Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas remastered versions, and Fallout 5 is also believed to be at an early stage of development and to be inspired by Amazon’s self-titled TV series.
