Crimson Desert Gets a Mod, Which Allows You to Customize Your Character

When Crimson Desert, the latest installment from Pearl Abyss, was released last month, some players criticized the game for the absence of character customization. Especially given how much they disliked the game's main character, Kliff. Well, now they have the chance to create their own character using a mod.

As revealed on Nexus Mods, the mod titled 'Character Creator—Female and Male' will allow gamers to customize their character by using barber’s services. This mod includes 98 face presets and 159 hairstyles for females and almost the same amount for males. It also includes Human, Orc and Goblin races.

If you want to use Character Creator—Female and Male during your experience of Crimson Desert, you should also download and install two separate mods: the Kliff Female Voice mod and JSON Mod Manager. The creators of mod are also hoping to add more customization options—eyebrows, eye color, eyeliner, and more, as well as replace for female animations.

Recently, Pearl Abyss announced Crimson Desert has sold 5 million copies across all platforms, which is a pretty good achievement for the studio. They are also actively developing their next title, DokeV, announced back in 2019 - an open-world action-adventure video game featuring Dokebi—Korean folklore creatures that gain strength from people’s dreams and collide together on their adventures. The release date of the game is currently planned no earlier than 2027 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
