New Metro Video Game Could Be Announced Next Week

The latest installment of Metro game series, Metro Awakening, was released in 2024. It was a title for VR developed by Vertigo Games, but the fans are waiting for the new game from 4A Games. Luckily for them, it seems like they don’t need to wait too long.

According to gaming insider AlexandreNGamR, the new Metro video game is expected to be announced next week, and it was also confirmed by another reliable scooper— NateTheHate. What’s curious is that it is rumored that the next PlayStation State of Play will take place on April 16, and AlexandreNGamR was the first who revealed this information. All of this could be part of a bigger picture and a larger puzzle, suggesting that a new Metro game will be announced at State of Play on April 16. So far, Sony hasn’t given any comments about the next State of Play show, but it’s all looking really intriguing.

The new Metro video game might not be the only announcement set to be revealed on April 16. According to ResetEra user BlackBate, the long-awaited remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, will be fully announced the same day—probably at State of Play if Sony confirms the show is officially taking place on this day.
