The Next State of Play Could Be Sooner Than We Expect
The latest State of Play show organized by PlayStation took place in February. It was a massive day for gamers as new games, like John Wick, God of War Trilogy Remake, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection - Volume 2, and more, were announced. And it looks like the next State of Play will take place sooner than we expected.
Initially announced by insider Millie A at the end of last month, the next PlayStation’s State of Play was scheduled for late spring-early summer, but the latest report from another reliable source, gaming insider NateTheHate, reveals PlayStation can hold the next presentation next week—April 16. But scooper states it’s not confirmed information for now and should be considered as rumors.
“Since this gained unexpected attention & traction... I'll share the unconfirmed date I've heard for the next potential State of Play: April 16th.
Emphasis on unconfirmed.”
Another State of Play show would be a massive opportunity to reveal more information about the upcoming projects. As we know, Insomniac Games, the developers of Marvel’s Wolverine, which is releasing on September 15, recently confirmed they will reveal more of the game this spring, with this month's State of Play, if rumors are true, being the perfect time. Plus, according to today’s report, Ubisoft is reportedly planning to make a full announcement of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, the remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, the same day—on April 16. Maybe Ubisoft knows more and is preparing to reveal the game at the upcoming State of Play.
However, at this time Sony didn’t announce the date for the next State of Play, so words from NateTheHate should be considered with a grain of salt.
