First Details of Wolfenstein 3 Reportedly Revealed
Although Bethesda Games Studios hasn’t announced the third Wolfenstein title, in recent interview, the director of MachineGames studio Jark Gustafsson revealed they want to finish the trilogy, and seemingly teased new Wolfenstein video game is in development. And now, the first details have been surfaced.
According to exclusive report from MP1st, the untitled Wolfenstein 3 video game is currently having a codename ‘Valkyrie’. Performance director of MachineGames Tom Keegan and casting director Emily Schweber are working on a casting; specifically, they’re looking for someone to play the character named Sofiya – Ukrainian orphan aged between 8-11. According to the casting description, Sofiya, alongside her dog Ralph, is uniting with William, probably William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, the protagonist of Wolfenstein, on his travels. She’s also described as “strong-willed survivor” after the war has traumatized her and “blooms under the care of the resistance”.

It is also mentioned the first performance captures is being eyed for this April, with shooting dates planned for 2026-2027. After that report, we can say the third Wolfenstein video game is indeed in development but we should expect the release date until 2028 or even 2029. Let’s not forget a TV show adaptation of Wolfenstein is also in development for Amazon Prime Video, and according to previous reports, Bethesda Game Studios wanted to release the new video game and TV series around the same time.
