New Wolfenstein Video Game is Teased by Developers

Recently, it was revealed by insider Jez Corden that Bethesda Game Studios and MachineGames are working on a new, third Wolfenstein video game, set to release simultaneously with a Wolfenstein TV show developed by Amazon.

So far, there hasn't been an official announcement of a new title; however, during the interview with GamesIndustry, studio director of MachineGames Jerk Gustafsson revealed they want to finish the trilogy, as he previously stated they wanted to make three video games when the franchise got rebooted back in 2014. You can see his words from the interview below:

“We wanted to finish the trilogy. And when we do that, that is something that I don’t want to comment on. It can be now, it can be later, but we’re not done with it. That’s what I can say.”

The latest Wolfenstein entry—Wolfenstein: The New Colossus—was released in 2017, but in 2019 two spin-offs were released as well—Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot.
