According to exclusive Insider Gaming’s report, besides Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, Ubisoft also cancelled:

- Project Ether (it was in development since 2019 but is now likely to be reintegrated into a new title developed by Ubisoft Halifax, with no other details revealed);

- Project Pathfinder (previously known as Project U, developed by Ubisoft Annecy, was supposed to be a session-based co-op shooter. According to reports, the game was initially cancelled back in March 2024);

- Project Crest (this is getting more interesting, as Project Crest is described as an extraction shooter set during World War II. Unfortunately, it is not mentioned which studio has served as the developer);

- Assassin’s Creed Rebellion and Assassin’s Creed Singularity (Rebellion is a mobile free-to-play strategy RPG that included more than 50 franchise characters, and it is stated Ubisoft has stopped the game’s support. As for Singularity, it was another mobile Assassin’s Creed game that was in development but now will never be released);

Ubisoft also recently cancelled Assassin’s Creed Codename League —a multiplayer mode for 2025’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows, according to the report. It’s definitely not an easy time for the company, but they still do have some Assassin’s Creed titles to come, like Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and Assassin’s Creed Hexe.
