The developer shared the roadmap in a blog post, giving players a clear look at what to expect as the game enters its first full year. Each month in the roadmap is given a specific title and a set of planned updates. January, labeled Headwinds, is set to introduce a level 40+ matchmaking option, allowing experienced players to find more evenly matched raids. A new map condition and a new player project are also scheduled before the month concludes. February, called Shrouded Sky, continues the momentum with a new map update, another Raider Deck, a fresh Expedition Window, and a player project. More interestingly, February will also introduce a new map condition and a new Arc threat. March, or Flashpoint, brings another Arc threat, a player project, and a new map condition. The resource-collecting rooster, Scrappy, is also slated for an update.

The most substantial updates are planned for April, titled Riven Tides. This month will see the release of an entirely new Arc Raiders map and a large new Arc threat. The teaser image for this threat shows only a skull, but the month's title and an umbrella icon suggest the new location could be a coastal or water-heavy environment. This new map will be the game's second, following the release of Stella Montis in November, about five months after the game's launch on October 30, 2025. It remains to be seen if Embark will maintain this five-month cadence for new maps going forward. The studio is keeping its plans beyond April a secret for now, but aims to deliver new content monthly.

The increased ARC presence continues to trouble Shani as the Rustbelt grows more overwhelmed, but no one holds all the pieces. The scale of the impending escalation remains unknown. Venture topside into an increasingly volatile Rustbelt—and make sure you’re prepared for what’s to come.

Read also, a significant point of contention in the Arc Raiders community has been the late spawn mechanic. For months, players have debated the fairness of joining a raid that is already well underway. The frustration of loading into a match with little time left on the clock has been a consistent source of feedback. The developers at Embark Studios have recently addressed the issue, revealing a disconnect between player frustration and the studio's internal data on the matter.
