Resident Evil Code: Veronica Remake Details Revealed
According to insider AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem, Capcom will introduce the remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica this year, though, he didn’t clarify when could this potentially happen.
Insider also shared some details of the upcoming installment. It’s been revealed Resident Evil Code: Veronica Remake is in active development since 2022, and it will also have some new features. For instance, Albert Wesker is expected to have a much bigger role, as well as a semi-open world that will be available for exploration. More revealed details can be checked below:

- In development since 2022;
- 3 years of development;
- Very smooth cycle;
- Resident Evil 4 levels of good;
- Wesker has a much bigger role;
- Steve has an “innocent” crush on Claire;
- HCF storyline becomes a main plot;
- Semi-open world;
- Claire explores an open Rockfort Island;
- She rides a motorcycle to explore;”
Resident Evil Code: Veronica was released back in 2000. The game features Claire and Chris Redfield as main protagonists and takes place three months after Resident Evil 2.
At the same time, the next Resident Evil game, Resident Evil Requiem, will release on February 27 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
