The Elder Scrolls VI Fans Are Excited Over Recent Xbox Account Post

The Xbox Developer Direct event is officially happening this month, on February 22, and for now three upcoming games have been confirmed to appear—Forza Horizon 6, Fable, and Beast of Reincarnation.

According to previous reports and rumors, there is another, fourth secret game to be revealed at the show, and it also might be related to Activision making a huge surprise. A recent post from the official X social media account of Xbox has also made The Elder Scrolls VI fans excited, as it says, “Big year for games ending in 6, though,” as you can check below:

Of course, we know both Forza Horizon 6 and Grand Theft Auto VI are releasing this year, but this post has made TES VI fans think the long-awaited game, announced back in 2018, may finally be released that year. There are already speculation on Reddit, where the gamers aren’t giving up, but it’s still pretty unlikely The Elder Scrolls VI will be released this year; for example, game developer interviewer Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly has revealed the game is having some kind of hell production and likely to be released somewhere in 2028-2029, while recent leak from 4chan confirms the full announcement is expected to happen at Summer Showcase and the game will be release on holiday season 2026 or in the first quarter of 2027.
