Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 Gets Frustrating Update from the Developers

Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is confirmed to be in development (reportedly, still in the early stage of development) by Insomniac Games, as they’re currently concentrating on another title based on Marvel Comics—Marvel's Wolverine. Though the game about the world’s famous X-Men member is set to release this year and remains one of the most anticipated titles of 2026, the fans have been wondering when they’re going to see another adventure of Friendly’s Neighborhood.

And, it seems like, they have to wait some time, as Insomniac Games confirmed via their official X social media account, they are not ready to share any information about the Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise's future, as the developers are really focused on Marvel’s Wolverine at the moment, as you can check below their reply to one of the gamer’s platinum collections in the Marvel’s Spider-Man game series:

“We don't have any news to share about the Marvel's Spider-Man franchise right now as we're focused on Marvel's Wolverine at the moment. But awesome platinum collection! Thanks for playing!”

At the same time, Marvel’s Wolverine is planned to release in 2026, though the release date still remains unknown. Recently, PlayStation insider TCMFGames confirmed both games (Marvel’s Wolverine and the Marvel’s Spider-Man game series) are set in the same universe, and Wolverine potentially can appear in future Spider-Man games and even meet up with the titular character.
