Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Lead Developer Doesn’t Know Why He Set Up a Third Game That Never Happened

Battlefield: Bad Company 2, released back in 2010, still remains one of the most favorite Battlefield games among the fans. The ending of the game’s story is strongly teasing a new installment; however, Battlefield: Bad Company 3 never happened and probably will never happen.

For a short time, the game’s ending has turned the attention of David Goldfarb, who was a lead designer and writer for Bad Company 2. It all started when gaming YouTuber TBAG on social media X post revealed the ending of the 2010 title and added he’s still waiting for Bad Company 3. Goldfarb replied to this post and revealed he is unsure why Bad Company 2 ends with a cliffhanger, as you can check below:

“haha remember pretty well. Not sure why I did it except it made sense at the time and I really wanted to make a sequel with Alaska occupied by russia”
