Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Is The Second Most GOTY-Awarded Video Game of All Time

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has become a real sensation in the gaming universe throughout 2025, as Sandfall Interactive’s title has currently won more than 300 Game of the Year awards, including The Game Awards 2025 show.

Recently, the game has overtaken Baldur’s Gate III (288 awards) and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (281 awards) and become the third most GOTY-awarded game of all time, but now the game has more (332) than The Last of Us: Part 2 (326) and is currently placed in second place. There is only one game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has to beat to become the all-time most GOTY-awarded game of all time—and that’s Elden Ring, which has 435 awards.

Despite the huge success of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Sandfall Interactive is already working on their new title, but they will need some time to prepare everything well, and the game is far away from releasing.
