Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Developers Teasing Their Next Video Game

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has become the best video game of 2025 by winning multiple Game of the Year awards. Currently, the game has 291 GOTY awards—more than Baldur’s Gate 3 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and only two games have more awards—Elden Ring and The Last of Us: Part 2.

The developers, Sandfall Interactive, recently spoke with Edge magazine, where they teased their new video game. Though they don't have any details, Sandfall Interactive already has some great ideas they are excited to explore, and they will need time to get really focused on their next title after the massive success of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. "I feel there is a bit of pressure from fans and critics when it comes to the team's next game, but it's not so important to us. We'll have time to get really focused into the next game. We have some great ideas we're so excited to explore, and we don't start from the same point. The team already has five more years of experience. So maybe we can do some great stuff."
