Possible Setting of Grand Theft Auto VII Revealed by Former Rockstar Games Developer
Grand Theft Auto VI will finally release this year, and the franchise will make its return to Vice City for the first time since 2006, when Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories was released.
And while the fans are anticipated to explore, perhaps, one of the biggest open worlds in the history of gaming in Grand Theft Auto VI, the former technical director of Rockstar North, Obbe Vermeji, who previously worked on GTA III, GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas, and GTA VI, during the interview with GamesHub, revealed a possible setting for the next Grand Theft Auto, GTA VII. He mentioned Rockstar Games are planning to revisit New York (Liberty City in the GTA universe) once again, as well as Los Angeles (Los Santos in the GTA universe) and Las Vegas (Las Venturas in the GTA universe).
“They’ll revisit New York again. They’ll go back to LA or maybe Las Vegas. I’m afraid we’re stuck in this loop of about five American cities. Let’s just get used to it.”
