Modders Are Actively Working on a Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer Mode

As we know, Cyberpunk 2077 was originally set to include a multiplayer feature before CD Project RED abandoned this idea. While the sequel of the game is expected to have some multiplayer elements, some modders are still actively working to bring the mode to the original game.

CyberMP - that’s the official name of multiplayer mode for Cyberpunk 2077 made by the fans. Recently, a new CyberMP trailer that show the best-test results have been released and you can see it below:

It is known that around 10 men are currently working for a mode. The work is currently in progress, and considering it’s only a beta stage right now, it's hard to predict the release date - but it’s also unlikely to happen soon. It will be awkward if Cyberpunk 2077 sequel with multiplayer actually releases sooner than CyberMP.

As for Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel, the game is currently in the middle of development by CD Projekt RED but also doesn’t have a release date yet; the game is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S
