The Game Awards 2025 Has Been the Most Viewed in the History of the Show

The Game Awards 2025 ceremony ended more than a week ago, and it not only revealed the best games in each of the 31 categories but also a lot of new promising titles, like Star Wars: The Fate of the Old Republic, two new Tomb Raider games, and Divinity, were confirmed.

There is another reason why The Game Awards 2025 has been successful. The show’s host, Geoff Keighley, on his X social media, revealed TGA 2025 has become the most-watched show in history, with more than 171 million global livestreams—an 11% year-over-year increase in comparison to the 151 million in 2024.
