The Biggest Announcements from The Game Awards 2025

The Game Awards 2025 officially ends and, as expected, it was a quite massive. Expect the revealing of winners per each category that you can see here, we have received a plenty of expected and unexpected announcements, and below you can see the biggest reveals during the show:

The Free Shepherd

Frame Interactive announced their new project – The Free Shepherd – an atmospheric adventure game with a sheepdog in a lead role who are searching for a lost sheep. Releases on PC and PlayStation 5 in 2027.

Decrepit

First-person action game with souls-like combat set in mystery castle. Developed by Jammerdal Games and releases next year.

AudioMech

From the creator of Audio Surf, Audio Mech is another music-based puzzle racing video when players can turn their music into weapons to fight the enemies. The trailer is available here.

Pragmata – Release Date

Capcom’s new IP Pragmata received a new trailer with a release date confirmation – April 24, 2026. Also, demo version is already available on Steam.

Solasta II

Solasta II has been confirmed at TGA 2015 with a trailer announces the game will release in early access for Steam on March 12, 2026. The trailer is available here.

Tankrat

Tankrat is an action about the surviving in a digital body. Set in a postapocalyptic world, the gameplay is built on tank battles. Releases in 2026. The trailer is available here.

Bradley the Badger

The creator of Mario + Rabbids announced its new project called Bradley the Badger. It’s an action/adventure video game set in a unique world where the main character is able to use special tools to travel through different world. Actor Evan Peters gave his voice to Bradley, and the game is releasing on PC in 2026.

Stupid Never Dies

Stupid Never Dies is a slasher developed by Japanese studio GPTRACK50. It’s a story about zombie called Davy and the girl called Julia. This duo will fight different monsters as revealed in a teaser trailer. The trailer is available here.

Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic

Surely, one of the biggest announcements during TGA 2025. Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic is a single player action RPG developed by Arcanaut Studios, led by former Casey Hudson, director of Mass Effect trilogy. The game is still at early stage of development and will be released for PC and consoles.

Divinity

Mystery with a statue has been finally solved at TGA 2025, with Larian studio announced they’re working on a new Divinity video game. It will be their biggest project yet, even bigger than Baldur’s Gate 3, and we have received a cinematic announcement trailer.

4 Loop

Developed by Bad Robot Games and Mike Booth, the creator of Left 4 Dead, 4 Loop is a new four-player co-op shooter where dying is part of gaming mechanics as players can learn from their mistakes. The trailer is available here.

Coven of the Chicken Foot

New game from The Last of Us and Uncharted 4 creator Bruce Straley has been revealed. The game is called Coven of the Chicken Foot and introduce an old witch as main protagonist who has chicken foot. She’s travelling on a mystery land with her weird partner-creation. The release date is still unconfirmed.

Ontos

New game from Frictional Games, Ontos is a successor of SOMA, the sci-fi adventure about the girl who arrives at lunar base because of her father’s legacy, who actually was a prophet. Releases next year on PC and consoles. The trailer is available here.

Resident Evil Requiem – Leon Kennedy Reveal Trailer

Rumors are true: Leon Kennedy is back in Resident Evil Requiem. Capcom releases new trailer confirms Leon will be another playable character in Requiem alongside Grace Ashcroft. The players will be able to feel two different variations of the game, while gameplay for Grace will be more like surviving horror, playing for Leon feels like action/adventure.

Order of the Sinking Star

New game announced from The Witness and Braid developers, Order of the Sinking Star is the biggest studio’s project yet, having more than 1000 riddles. The trailer is available here.

Exodus

New Exodus trailer has been revealed during TGA 2025 confirming the game will release in early 2027. The trailer is available here.

Warlock: Dungeons and Dragons

Hasbro announced their new project, Warlock: Dungeons and Dragons, that allows players to play for Kaatri who uses the magic to fight the dark forces. We will see gameplay next summer while the game is set for release in 2027. The trailer is available here.

Control: Resonant

Remedy officially introduces new Control video game – Control: Resonant. The game is set 7 years after the original title, and we will have a new protagonist – Dylan Faden, brother of Jesse Faden, the main character of the first game. The game doesn’t have a release date yet.

Gang of Dragon

Nagoshi Studios, led by former Yakuza creator Toshihiro Nagoshi, revealed his brand-new title called Gang of Dragon. It’s a third-person action/adventure game that looks like a mix of Yakuza and Grand Theft Auto game series. Famous actor Ma Dong-seok gave his appearance to the main character.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

TT Games have shown a new trailer for their upcoming release, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knights and also revealed a release date – May 29, 2026. The trailer is available here.

Tomb Raider: Catalyst

Tomb Raider: Catalyst is a continuation of Tomb Raider series developed by Crystal Dynamics. The game will be set in the northern part of India and introduce the biggest open world in the franchise history. Release has been planned for 2027.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis

There is another Lara Croft game in development. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a remake of Tomb Raider (1996) video game. Crystal Dynamics are also responsible for the development, and the game is currently set to release next year.

Forest 3

The Forest franchise has received a new title – Forest 3, and the game has change it’s setting massively. The game will be set on mystery planet instead of traditional forest. Unlike original game and Sons of the Forest, developers are using Unreal Engine 5, not Unity engine for the game. The trailer is available here.

Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred Expansion

Blizzard have announced new expansion for Diablo 4 called Lord of Hatred Expansion. It will serve as the climax to Diablo 4: Age of Hatred saga, where recently returned Lilith will battle Mephisto, Lord of Hatred. Will release in 2026.

007 First Light – Lenny Kravitz Reveal

IO Interactive released a new trailer from 007 First Light and confirmed that Lenny Kravitz will play a main villain in the game, called Bawma. The trailer is available here.

No Law

No Law is a role-playing shooter from Neon Giant, tells the story of former military who wants to live a peaceful life but it’s not that easy in the city of Port Desire. The game is looking so much like Cyberpunk 2077 and currently doesn’t have a release date.

Total War: Warhammer 40K

Creative Assembly have announced Total War: Warhammer 40000. The gamers will be able to control one of the factions from Warhammer 40000 universe and it’s been also confirmed that Hollywood actor David Harbour will be in the game. Release date is currently unknown.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve

New Ace Combat game have been confirmed at TGA 2025 by Bandai Namco studios. Ace of Combat 8: Wings of Theve will release in 2026. The trailer is available here.

Star Wars: Galactic Rider

Yet another Star Wars game was announced at The Game Awards 2025. Star Wars: Galactic Rider is being created by Fuse Games, new studio which developers have previously worked on Burnout and Need for Speed games. The game is confirmed to have a story mode.

Highguard

Apex Legends and Titanfall creators have announced their new product – Highguard, PvP shooter set in fantasy universe. The game will be release on January 2026.
