The Forsaken Hollows DLC Arrives December 4 🌑✨

Unveiled during Sony’s State of Play Japan on November 11, The Forsaken Hollows is shaping up to be one of Nightreign’s most ambitious content drops yet.

Players can expect:

  • Two new Nightfarers: The Scholar and The Undertaker
  • Two challenging new bosses, each designed to push player mastery
  • A brand-new Shifting Earth, adding dynamic difficulty layers
  • New enemies, fresh POIs, and a broader range of Expedition modifiers

A large portion of the community has been asking for more bosses and Nightfarers since launch — and this DLC finally delivers.


December 3 Update Brings New Features, QoL Enhancements & Key Fixes 🔧📜

FromSoftware’s latest patch lays the foundation for The Forsaken Hollows and introduces meaningful improvements to the Nightreign experience.

Highlights include:

  • New relic management tools
  • Improved co-op logic
  • Combat adjustments
  • UI and quality-of-life updates
  • Weapon balancing
  • A large wave of bug fixes

Players can now more easily track builds, manage relics, and coordinate co-op play — all long-requested features.

🆕 New Features

  • DLC Support Added: The Forsaken Hollows now appears on the title screen for owners.
  • New Relic Display: Equipped relics now appear in the Character Selection menu.
  • Relic Preset Names: Players can now name, reorder, and manage loadout presets.
  • Collector Signboard Expansion: Added the Deep Large Scenic Flatstone.
  • Improved Results Menu:Toggle map layer display
  • View other players’ equipped relics
  • Expanded Co-op Functionality:Players with different Personal Objectives can now run Expeditions together
  • UI Improvements:Flask count highlighted in new scenarios
  • Compass rune icon now displays vertical elevation
  • Map events on other layers can be highlighted

A wide set of issues have been corrected, including:

  • Augur invasion teleportation lock
  • Missing activation on Sites of Grace & Churches
  • Desync issues with Night’s Tide
  • Missing Hammer weapons with Prayerful Strike
  • Inconsistencies with buffing/dodging interactions
  • Ironeye skill visibility issues
  • Parry stagger inconsistencies
  • Darkness-imbued enemy attacks not matching intended dodge frames
  • Multiple Relic, UI, and Results-menu inconsistencies
  • Sound effect issues, text corrections, and rendering problems
  • Session return loop after abrupt disband
  • Performance improvements across various systems
