Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake Won't Be at The Game Awards 2025

At the end of last month, well-known insider Tom Henderson revealed a possible release date of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake - he said the game will be released on January 16, 2026 and we might get some footage on The Game Awards 2025. But now we have an official information and it doesn't sound good for those who were waiting to see Ubisoft's newest instalment.

Official Prince of Persia account on social media X released a short statement regarding the appearance of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake at The Game Awards 2025. In short, the game will not be at this year's show:

"Sorry to disappoint, but can confirm Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time won't be at TGA this year"

It's a bit surprising considering how much reliable insider Tom Henderson is, but it still could mean Sands of Time remake can release on January 16, 2026. At least, it was something official X account of game series didn't deny. The only thing we can do right now is to wait an official information from Ubisoft regarding the showcase of the game and possible release date.
