Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is Now Has the Most GOTY Awards

After a massive success last year, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has started to collect so many Game of the Year awards, and only two weeks ago the game was in the second position, just behind Elden Ring. However, we have a new undisputed winner.

Thanks to ResetEra users, it is now confirmed that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has overtaken Elden Ring as the game with the most GOTY awards. FromSoftware’s title currently has 429 awards, while the best video game of 2025, which is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, now has 436.

Again, it is a huge achievement for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and its developers, Sandfall Interactive, and it’s now very unlikely some game will have more awards anytime soon.
