Life is Strange: Reunion Officially Announced

Square Enix and Deck Nine officially announced the new Life is Strange video game—Life is Strange: Reunion—and revealed an official trailer and first details of the upcoming title.

Life is Strange: Reunion is concluding the story of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price and will be set in Caledon University from Life is Strange: Double Exposure. Chloe Price is back, and now she’s a touring band manager of Drugstore Makeup. For the first time in the Life is Strange universe, there will be playable characters—Max and Chloe, respectively. Speaking of Max, she now has the power to rewind time from the original Life is Strange video game. As for Chloe, the mechanic of Backtalk from Life is Strange: Before the Storm will return.

Life is Strange: Reunion will have a direct connection to the very first Life is Strange: the choices you made in the game, whether to sacrifice Chloe or Arcadia Bay, and whether they were friends or lovers, will have an impact on the Max-Chloe relationship in Reunion.

As was previously reported, Life is Strange: Reunion is a direct sequel to 2024’s Life is Strange: Double Exposure, and some of the characters, like Safi, Moses, Amanda, Vinh, and many more, will appear in the upcoming installment.

The game also won’t have an episode system, like previous titles, and will be released on March 26 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
