Path of Exile 2 Update 0.2.0h: Breach Buffs, QoL Upgrades, and More Coming Soon

Grinding Gear Games has shared details about the upcoming Path of Exile 2 update, version 0.2.0h. This patch will mainly focus on endgame improvements and quality-of-life changes — which is great news, especially considering that the current league has been widely criticized by both players and streamers as underwhelming.

Endgame ChangesOne of the key updates is a rework of Breach mechanics. Breaches will now last longer and spawn more monsters. Instead of many small splinter stacks, players will encounter fewer but larger ones. This makes Breach encounters more dynamic and rewarding, especially for builds designed for heavy AoE combat. A welcome change that should make Breach farming actually enjoyable.

Rogue Exiles are also getting an update — they’ll be easier to spot in the middle of chaotic fights, reducing the chances of missing out on valuable loot. Meanwhile, Azmerian Wisps — introduced in the Dawn of the Hunt update — will now behave more consistently when activated simultaneously, addressing previous issues with their unpredictable behavior.

Quality of Life Improvements The patch brings a range of convenience updates. Players will be able to use hotkeys for interacting with Strongboxes and Essences, allowing them to apply currency directly from the UI without opening their inventory. This includes support for Vaal Orbs, which can change the rewards of Essence-bound enemies.

By popular demand, a new filter will be added for Unidentified Items, letting players sort Tier 1–5 Magic and Rare items without needing to identify them.

New Stash Tabs and Private Leagues Two new stash tabs will also be introduced: the Ritual Tab for Omens and Audiences with the King, and the Socketable Tab for organizing Runes, Talismans, and Soul Cores, as well as for rune upgrading.

Additionally, Private Leagues will become available, initially through the Path of Exile 1 website. While these leagues won't support extra mods at first, GGG has promised to expand their features in the near future.
