Although it may seem surprising, SpongeBob SquarePants first premiered in 1999. Since then, the Nickelodeon series has grown into a global franchise, expanding into movies, games, and merchandise. Most recently, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants arrived in theaters as the franchise’s fourth theatrical film. The character also returned to gaming in SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, which launched at the end of 2025. Beyond official titles, the beloved underwater world often appears in fan creations across different games.

Minecraft Player Recreates Conch Street

One such fan project was shared on Reddit by user ImmediateMention9524, who revealed a SpongeBob-themed survival base in Minecraft. The build features the three most recognizable homes from the show: SpongeBob’s pineapple house, Squidward’s Easter Island head, and Patrick’s rock, forming the well-known Conch Street.

Each structure closely mirrors its animated counterpart. SpongeBob’s house includes the familiar pineapple shape with a green leafy crown and chimney, while Patrick’s home features the recognizable antenna sitting on top of the rock. To enhance the look, the creator used different blocks to add shading and depth, making the buildings stand out and appear more detailed.

Functional Interiors Inside the Cartoon Homes

The project didn’t stop at recreating the exterior designs. Each house also includes fully functional interiors, designed to work as part of a survival base.

For example, SpongeBob’s pineapple contains a bedroom, kitchen, and storage area, along with other practical features. The attention to detail impressed many Reddit users, and the post quickly gathered over a thousand upvotes along with numerous comments.

Some fans joked about the base being located above water instead of under the sea, while others expressed interest in recreating Conch Street in their own worlds. The creator even shared a code in the comments so players could explore the build themselves.

Minecraft’s Endless Creative Possibilities

This SpongeBob recreation highlights the limitless creativity of Minecraft players. Since the game’s release, fans have built everything from fictional cities to real-world landmarks inside Mojang’s sandbox world. Over time, updates have introduced new blocks and items, expanding the possibilities for ambitious builds.

With Minecraft remaining one of the most popular games in the world, impressive fan creations like this are likely to keep appearing.

Minecraft’s First Game Drop of 2026

While the community continues to build, Mojang is preparing the first Minecraft game drop of 2026, expected to arrive in the coming weeks. The update, called Tiny Takeover, will introduce enhanced versions of baby mobs.

These include baby farm animals such as chickens and cows, as well as smaller versions of hostile mobs like zombies and husks, adding a more playful and adorable side to the game.

However, the update has received mixed reactions from the community. Some players have jokingly referred to it as “The Nothing Update,” arguing that it lacks significant gameplay features or new building tools. Others are simply happy to see baby mobs receive more attention.
