If you're already preparing for the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, make sure your PC meets the final system requirements, as GSC Game World has published the final data, and they are slightly higher than the previous ones.
To play the game on low settings at 1080p at 30 frames per second, you'll need an Intel Core i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X processor, a GTX 1060 (6GB), RX 580 (8GB) or Arc A750 graphics card, and 16GB of RAM.
The medium graphics preset at 1080p and 60 frames per second requires an i7-9700K or Ryzen 7 3700X processor, RTX 2070 Super/ RTX 4060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card, and 16 GB of RAM.
For the high settings recommended by the developers, at 1440p and 30 frames per second, you'll need an i7-11700 or Ryzen 7 5800X processor, RTX 3070 Ti/ RTX 4070 or RX 6800 XT graphics card, and 32GB of RAM.
For players who want to enjoy 4K ultra graphics at over 60 frames per second, even more powerful components are required: Intel Core i7-13700KF or Ryzen 7 7700X, RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX graphics card, and 32 GB of RAM.
Your SSD must have at least 160 GB of free space. In addition, the game will support modern DLSS and FSR anti-aliasing technologies right from the start, which will help improve performance even on less powerful systems.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is expected to release on 20 November for Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG) and Game Pass subscription.
