"Rebel Wolves" welcomes an experienced professional from CD Projekt Red to join their team as the new Creative Director
The studio, based in Warsaw and founded in 2022 by the former game director and artist of The Witcher 3, is currently actively working on a fantasy RPG for PC and next-gen consoles.
Tomaszkiewicz, who previously spent almost 13 years at CD Projekt, holding various key positions including lead quest designer on The Witcher 3 and its expansions, as well as quest director on Cyberpunk 2077, joined Rebel Wolves after two years working as the principal narrative designer on Riot Games' upcoming multiplayer online action game set in the League of Legends universe.
"There are many fantastic RPGs out there today, but I feel that players not only have enough space but also a desire for more captivating stories," noted Tomaszkiewicz.
"We aim to create an experience that provides a variety of choices and space for experimentation upon replay. My mission at Rebel Wolves is to help create this experience with so many talented people, and I look forward to everyone seeing what the team has been working on for quite some time."
The studio's debut game is described as a AAA dark fantasy, built on the Unreal 5 engine, and planned as the first part of an epic saga.
Rebel Wolves announced today that the project has entered the alpha stage of development and plans to provide more detailed information about the game later this year.
