Diablo 4 Unleashes Season of Blood: Experience Buff Glitch, New Bosses, and a Glimpse into the Future of Endgame!
Players of Diablo 4 have recently observed that the experience boost provided during the Mother's Blessing event is slightly less than what was originally promised. Blizzard's developers have acknowledged that this change was unintentional and have assured players that they are actively working on a solution. While the Season of Blood has brought positive changes to Diablo 4 overall, certain quality-of-life improvements, such as a loot filter, are still notably absent from the game. Despite this, many players find that the leveling process is less tedious, there is greater diversity in character builds, and the endgame is no longer as monotonous as it was at the game's launch.
The introduction of new bosses, like Duriel, has provided alternative avenues for acquiring gear in Diablo 4. Duriel, in particular, is considered the most reliable source for farming Uber Uniques. Players are advised to reach at least Level 80 and equip themselves with Uniques and Legendaries corresponding to their class build before taking on this challenging endeavor. To assist both new and returning players on their journeys, Blizzard implemented a bonus experience event in Diablo 4 for a limited time.
Despite the Mother's Blessing event being promoted as offering a 35% increase in Experience and Gold (stacking with Elixir and Incense bonuses), the actual in-game boost provided was only 25%. Concerns were raised on social media platforms like Reddit, with players like bboyblock questioning whether the reduced bonus was a bug or if there was misinformation in Blizzard's official announcement. Fortunately, a community manager for Diablo 4 named Marcoose responded to the thread, confirming that the Mother's Blessing event was indeed bugged, and developers were actively working on a fix.
The ongoing event runs from November 20 to November 27, 10:00 AM PST. Players who have yet to explore all the new features introduced in Diablo 4's Season of Blood are encouraged to take advantage of the experience bonus to expedite the progress of their seasonal characters. Looking ahead, December 2023 and Patch 1.2.3 are expected to bring a brand-new endgame activity inspired by Reaper of Souls.
Specifically, Greater Rifts are making a return through the Abattoir of Zir activity in Diablo 4, allowing players not only to conclude their Season of Blood journey but also to relive the high-intensity experience of battling through endless hordes of monsters in an attempt to complete the Rift within a set time. For those who have not yet experienced the latest Blizzard title, Diablo 4 is currently available at a 40% discount across all three platforms.
