Master the Secrets of Diablo 4's Greater Good Quest with this Ultimate Guide
Sanctuary has undergone significant changes since the events of Diablo 4, but some individuals seem resistant to change. In the Hawezar region, players will encounter a familiar face engaging in familiar activities in the Greater Good quest. However, whether these actions truly benefit the people remains uncertain.
Lyndon, the cunning Scoundrel companion from the previous game, makes a comeback in Diablo 4 as a quest giver. He has some tasks for players and offers insights into his whereabouts and endeavors since his adventures alongside the Nephalem. Here is a comprehensive guide to the Greater Good side quest.
Diablo 4 Greater Good - Stolen Supplies Location
The quest becomes available after completing Dead in the Water, another side quest given by Tomaj in the Forsaken Coast sub-region of Hawezar. Assist Tomaj, Ervin, and Szilvia, then speak with Lyndon to claim your rewards.
Lyndon will enlist the player's help in recovering stolen supplies taken by local bandits. He dispatches his loyal associate, Orton, to accompany the player during their pursuit of the culprits. Follow the marked area on the map and commence the search.
The stolen supplies are stored in a chest near a heap of other pilfered goods, guarded by a gang of bandits. The location is situated within the central area of the blue circle on the map, easily identifiable by the bandits' boisterous calls.
Eliminate the hostile forces, retrieve the supplies, and return to Lyndon. Upon delivering the package, players will receive customary rewards for a side quest, including a generous amount of gold, experience points, a resource cache, and a substantial boost of Renown XP specific to the Hawezar region.
According to the bandits, Lyndon owed them the stolen supplies, implying that they were merely reclaiming what was rightfully theirs. After defeating the gang, players can question Orton about Lyndon's alleged betrayal, to which he defends his boss, asserting that he wouldn't deceive innocent people.
In Diablo 3, Lyndon was portrayed as a conniving swindler who would stop at nothing to amass wealth. However, beneath his criminal facade, he possesses a fundamentally good-hearted nature (albeit morally ambiguous), willing to venture through the depths of Hell to protect the people and, of course, acquire copious amounts of treasure.
