Lords of the Fallen receives release date alongside a new gameplay trailer
According to recent leaks, the game "Lords of the Fallen" will be released on October 13, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via the Steam and Epic Games Store.
Pre-orders are already open, and early buyers will be rewarded with three exclusive armor tints and several in-game bonuses.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, "Lords of the Fallen" is a reboot of the dark fantasy action-RPG of the same name that was released in 2014.
Players will assume the role of one of the renowned Dark Crusaders, sent on a mission to overthrow a demonic god named Adyr. The game also supports online co-op for two players.
"Lords of the Fallen" takes place over 1,000 years after the events of the original game, and its world is claimed to be over five times larger, as stated by publisher CI Games when the game was announced last August.
A technical showcase trailer released in March showcased a journey to Skyrest Bridge, one of the game's early locations. It also demonstrated character customization, armor builds, and the interconnected world of the game.
Developer Hexworks, a CI Games studio founded in early 2020, states that players will have the ability to travel between two worlds: Axiom, the realm of the livingbral,, and Um the realm of the dead.
