Developer of "The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story" presents a new real-time strategy game with a focus on base building

One of the most atmospheric trailers showcased at the Humble Games Showcase today was dedicated to Cataclismo, a new real-time strategy game with tower defense elements from Digital Sun studio, the developer behind The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story.

Cataclismo is a game where you will gradually construct fortresses in a dark fantasy world shrouded in deadly fog, paying close attention to details. In the trailer, the camera smoothly moves through the game's gloomy world, showcasing swarms of ghostly white creatures attacking towering fortresses defended by medieval archers.

This is only a small part of the game, but it is captivating and perfectly captures the atmosphere of desperate survivors in a besieged castle facing unimaginable horrors.

"Every night, a repulsive horde awaits you. Deploy skilled crossbowmen, fiery artillery, and brutal traps to fend off the monsters unleashed upon your walls," states the game description on the Steam page. "Even if you survive the night, the Fog won't dissipate, and the Horrors will return. Gather and manage resources, preparing for what is to come, and explore new technologies in a real-time economic strategy that will have you searching every vein of ore and broken crate of materials across the map."

In addition to the opportunity to build castles and defend against nightly attacks using warriors and traps, there is a bonus for those who simply enjoy building. Cataclismo will feature a creative mode where you can freely construct without worrying about your creations being destroyed by the Horrors.

The release date or even the year of release for the game Cataclismo has not been announced yet, but at the moment, I can show you the game's page on the Steam store.
