Krafton Acquires Last Epoch Developer Eleventh Hour Games

Eleventh Hour Games, the indie studio behind the breakout action RPG Last Epoch, has officially been acquired by Krafton, the South Korean publisher best known for PUBG. The deal follows talks with multiple potential strategic partners before Krafton secured the acquisition.

In an official blog post, Eleventh Hour Games founder Judd Cobler shared that joining Krafton will help the studio elevate the Last Epoch franchise to new heights. The partnership also brings expanded resources — including a larger development team and a bigger budget — which will be used to fuel their next ambitious ARPG project.

Despite the ownership change, support for Last Epoch remains unchanged. Season 3 is slated to launch on August 21, with Season 4 expected to follow four months later.

While Krafton did not disclose the financial details of the deal, industry speculation suggests the figure is modest — unsurprising, given that Eleventh Hour Games is still considered an indie outfit with a team of around 100 employees.
