Rumors have surfaced online that Amazon, known for selling things online, plans to acquire video game giant Electronic Arts. The amount of the transaction is currently unknown.

Recently, information has appeared that the company, known for such series of sports simulators as FIFA, Madden, Fight Night and others, as well as Apex Legends, the Dragon Age, Titanfall, Need For Speed and The Sims series of games, is planning to sell. Companies such as Apple or Disney were named among potential buyers, but it seems that the choice fell on Amazon. Neither side of the potential deal has yet commented on the rumors.
