Insider: Warzone 2 will not be linked to the original battle royale
After a high-profile deal between Microsoft and Activision, rumors floated on the network regarding upcoming Activision projects. One of them, according to verified insiders, will be Warzone 2.
According to Tom Henderson, the continuation of the royal battle will not be released until 2023. Previously, the game was planned to be released by the end of this year, but plans have changed.
According to Henderson, the Warzone sequel will not be linked to the original. Players will be prompted to start over with a clean slate on a new map, with no progress earned over the course of Warzone.
The insider advises fans of the original battle royale not to worry: they are not going to refuse to support the first part. By the way, Warzone 2 is planned to be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S, and the game will also look at the PlayStation 5.
