Astralis Group appears on the American stock market
Danish esports organization Astralis Group entered the US stock market. The first company to put the Danish club's securities up for auction was the financial markets operator OTC Markets Group.
Anders Hoersholt, CEO of Astralis, commented on the news: "This will give our current and potential new shareholders an additional and larger regulated platform from which they can conveniently trade our common shares."
Note that the organization's shares will be displayed under the ticker "ASGRF". Interestingly, Astralis Group became the 500th company to appear on the OTC Markets Group stock market.
Astralis is currently listed on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market Denmark under the ticker "ASTRLS", and the double listing on the OTC Markets Group will allow US investors to easily trade Astralis shares and gain access to the growing esports industry. The entity expects the listing to increase liquidity.
Astralis Group owns all the commercial rights and activities of the Astralis brand. In League of Legends, Astralis owns a permanent seat in the LEC franchise, and in Counter-Strike, it is represented in premium leagues, including ESL Pro League and BLAST.
