European organization G2 Esports has announced a major two-year partnership with global sportswear brand Adidas.

As a result of the multi-year deal, Adidas will become the official sportswear supplier for the G2, and the brand will release the 2021 esports organization jersey. Specific details of the partnership will be revealed at a global press conference at Zoom. However, the organization has confirmed that in addition to providing technical goods for G2 players, Adidas will also work with the esports brand to launch a joint apparel line.

In addition, the G2 will receive exclusive industry-specific access to the Adidas World of Sports in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

The new G2 knit will contain a number of unique features such as the AEROREADY technology, which is designed to keep the fabric in "optimal condition". In addition, the jersey will include a "thin holographic image" of G2 founder and CEO Carlos Rodriguez.

The sportswear company becomes the latest brand to join the ever-expanding list of G2 partners. The esports organization's commercial portfolio already includes companies such as Domino's, Pringles, Mastercard and BMW.

In recent years, Adidas has steadily increased its investment in the esports space. The company has a multi-year agreement with the French organization Team Vitality, which includes a co-branded line of sneakers. In 2019, adidas signed a multi-year deal with the influential Ninja and partnered with the esports organization Team Heretics.
