Came, saw, taught - Astralis will open a school for cybersportsmen
The management of the Danish esports club announced that they will create a new project called Astralis Talent. His goal will be to find and train young, previously undiscovered esports talents. So far, Astralis will focus on two disciplines: CS: GO and League of Legends. The CS: GO direction will be curated by CS: GO coach Danny 'zonic' Sorensen.
According to the above, the eSports learning platform development program is designed for players who are in the range of 14 to 20 years. Gamers will get a good advantage if they join the Astralis Talent project. They will be able to gather for bootcamps at the Astralis base, which is located in Copenhagen, as well as work with the in-house psychologists of the esports club and its analysts. In addition, representatives of the starting roasters are always ready to help young players.
Kasper Hvidt, who is the sports director of Astralis, said that the club's management does not intend to delay this process for long. January 2021 will be the deadline for the Danish organization to announce youth rosters for CS: GO and League of Legends. Kasper also said that the new rosters will receive as much support as the starting rosters in the aforementioned disciplines, and will also be able to play under the Astralis tag at local championships.
