EA's management announced that it still cannot decide on the answer to the question "Should I raise the price of my games?" In a report to investors, Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgenson said that in modern realities, game development has become larger and more costly, and therefore it would be a good decision to raise prices for EA products.

In mid-summer, 2K Games announced that the cost of NBA 2K21 for the next generation consoles will be $ 70, while the same game on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has a price tag of $ 60. Other publishers have not yet talked about their plans, and therefore the future regarding games on the next generation console is still cloudy.
