Maybe not? - EA are still thinking about raising prices for their games
EA's management announced that it still cannot decide on the answer to the question "Should I raise the price of my games?" In a report to investors, Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgenson said that in modern realities, game development has become larger and more costly, and therefore it would be a good decision to raise prices for EA products.

Nevertheless, Electronic Arts is in no hurry to draw conclusions. The situation may become clearer after several games are released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
In mid-summer, 2K Games announced that the cost of NBA 2K21 for the next generation consoles will be $ 70, while the same game on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has a price tag of $ 60. Other publishers have not yet talked about their plans, and therefore the future regarding games on the next generation console is still cloudy. Analysts, after conducting research work, have come to the conclusion that with a high probability of games with the release of new generation consoles will increase in price.
