Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs to be held in London

The organizers of the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs have announced the venue for the championship. The event, which will take place from 2 to 5 February, will be played in London at the Copper Box Arena. Forty participants from all over the world will compete for a combined prize pool of $1,000,000.

Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs begins with a 40-team group stage over the first two days of the competition (February 2-3). Here the teams will be divided into four groups of ten teams each and will play one series of six matches against each other group. The Bracket stage begins on Saturday, February 4th, where each team will be assigned a starting position in a double elimination bracket based on their performance in the group stage.

After Saturday's game in a double elimination bracket, the top twenty teams will advance to the final. It will take place on Sunday, February 5 and will consist of a single match points series to determine the champion of the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs.

Starting Thursday, December 22nd at 8:00 AM PT/4:00 PM GMT, fans can purchase championship tickets to visit the Copper Box Arena and see the scene's top teams live.
