Albralelie left FaZe Clan Apex Legends roster
American esportsman Albralelie announced his departure from FaZe Clan in the Apex Legends discipline. The 22-year-old American spoke about this on his social networks, thus ending his two-month stay in the organization. It is reported that the decision was made by the team and approved by all parties.
I really appreciate that they risked me at all for my first ever split as captain and I wish things were better but the past cannot be changed. Thank you guys. You helped me find what I was looking for for almost three years. I can't say that I performed well all this time, but I can say that I learned a lot not only about myself, but also about what team I want to be part of.
I realized that I didn't want to be a captain, I just wanted to not be treated like a waste. Mutual respect is a huge thing for me and I just don't agree with being genuinely spoken down to or treated like I'm inferior to you just because you're coordinating me in a video game.
For the next week or two, I'll be mostly streaming with my group of IRL friends and focus on just having fun with my friends.
Albralelie joined FaZe Clan at the end of October to try himself as a captain. However, the team did not win fame with him, winning BenQ Apex Showdown #13 and Oversight - Season 1 Split 2: Week #1. Moreover, the team took 20th place in the Apex Legends Global Series 2022-23: Split 1 Pro League - North America, which is why they did not get to the Split 1 Playoffs, which will be held in London in February.
Now FaZe Clan will have to rethink their approach to building a roster. At the same time, quite recently, many well-known organizations, including Cloud9, G2 Esports and Team Liquid, left the stage, citing disagreements with the organizers.
