FaZe Clan strengthens its leadership team with new appointments

North American esports organization FaZe Clan has announced several appointments and promotions within its leadership team. In particular, the club has appointed Rana Kaplan as the new CEO, who has served as chief of staff for the past five years. In her new role, she will report to President and COO Zach Katz and lead an operations team focused on business process efficiency.

To achieve this goal, we are pleased to appoint Rana Kaplan as our new CEO and appoint key executives in our divisions who will play a key role in maximizing the impact of our brand and growing our business.

• Brooke Grant - a new chapter in the field of Web3
• Laura Reik is the new Head of Creative Operations
• Kelly Serden is the new VP of Human Resources

• Nick Ruffini, Senior Director of Branded Content
• Olu Obafemi, Development Director
• Ryan Ruggiero, YouTube Strategist
• Sean Clark-Dougherty, Vice President, Esports Content
• Jay Devonish, IP Development Director

In the announcement, FaZe Clan also revealed that it has hired George De La Cruz as its accounting EVP.

Note that these appointments come at a difficult time for the FaZe Clan organization, which, according to a recent Forbes magazine report, is experiencing huge financial problems and may be left without a livelihood as early as 2023.
