EXCEL ESPORTS extends deal with EE for another three years
British eSports organization EXCEL ESPORTS has announced the extension of its partnership with mobile operator EE for another three years. After the first merger with the club in 2020, EE will continue to be the organization's lead partner until 2025.
As part of an ongoing three-year partnership, the EE brand will be featured on all kits worn by the EXCEL ESPORTS League of Legends, VALORANT and FIFA teams. In addition, the company will continue to help the organization's teams train at their headquarters, providing world-class connectivity backed by the UK's best network.
Pete Jeavons, Director of Marketing Communications at EE: "The gaming community in the UK continues to grow and together with our partners at EXCEL ESPORTS we are excited to use our technology and networks to deliver new initiatives, experiences and services that will benefit this community - both at the elite and grassroots levels, we want to become the number one gaming network in the UK and we believe our work with EXCEL ESPORTS will be fundamental to achieving that goal."
Notably, EE has identified three key ambitions after extending its partnership with EXCEL ESPORTS:
- Inclusion: Nurture the next generation of women in gaming to help change the industry for the better
- Culture: Support players outside of gaming by providing mental health support to the gaming community
- Experience: Enhance your gaming experience with products and services designed to open the community to new audiences
Mark Carter, Chief Commercial Officer of EXCEL ESPORTS: "I'm honored to announce the renewal of our three-year partnership with EE, making this one of the longest partnerships in esports history. We look forward to sharing more exciting details as we step up the partnership together".
In addition to EE, other EXCEL ESPORTS partners include JD, Just Eat and Yoyotech.
