Thunder Awaken partners with Luckbox

Peruvian eSports organization Thunder Awaken has announced a partnership agreement with betting company Luckbox. It is reported that the deal is equated to the performance of the club's Dota 2 team at The International 2022. In turn, with this deal, the bookmaker plans to strengthen its position in South America.

The deal is an investment by Luckbox, a company owned by Canadian holding company Real Luck Group, to continue expanding into new markets. South America has reportedly caught the attention of the betting company, especially after the platform saw an increase in registered users from Brazil in October.

Daniel Sanders, Marketing Director at Real Luck Group: "Peru is a strategically important market for us. Not only because of the huge interest in eSports, but also because of the expansion of our online casino and bookmaker offerings for bettors betting on this dynamic market, we look forward to working with local regulators and providing more details on our growth strategy in Latin America in the coming months."

Currently, the Thunder Awaken Dota 2 roster is playing at The International 2022. The Peruvian team took third place in the group stage, making it to the upper bracket of the playoffs. Here the team will play with North Americans from Evil Geniuses.
