The Chiefs Esports Club partners with APC by Schneider Electric
Australian esports organization The Chiefs Esports Club has announced a partnership with battery manufacturer APC by Schneider Electric. As part of the deal, the company will provide the club with its UPS Pro backup modules to protect PCs, consoles and internet modems from power surges.
APC by Schneider Electric becomes the latest addition to The Chiefs Esports Club's roster of commercial partners, which include Energizer, McDonald's Australia, Westfield and Optus. In addition, the Australian club recently renewed its partnership with the L'Oréal Paris Men Expert brand.
Nick Bobir, CEO of The Chiefs Esports Club: "We've all been there before, someone either turned off the power or the lights went out in your block. But you were in the middle of the game and now you not only have to wait to see, not if your equipment burned down, but you know what it cost your team a game. Now, thanks to a partnership with by Schneider Electric, we can keep the Chiefs on their toes no matter what comes their way."
In turn, the esports market is not new to APC, as the brand teamed up with Brazilian organization W7M Gaming last year.
Ras Jayavikrama, Head of Presales & Offer Management at Schneider Electric: "APC hardware has been a reliable and dependable solution for both home and commercial applications for many years. In gaming, we understand the importance of confidence and performance in a system - to create optimal gaming. That's why it's important to us to provide top-notch power protection and uptime for high-performance computing and gaming systems."
Over the past few years, The Chiefs Esports Club has solidified its position as one of Australia's largest esports organizations through several strategic partnerships.
