Christoph Pachler is the new CFO of FaZe Clan
North American esports organization FaZe Clan has announced the appointment of Christoph Pachler, formerly of independent television studio Critical Content, as its new CFO. In his new role, Pachler will oversee all aspects of the club's financial management. This includes financial planning, accounting and reporting, strategic development, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. He will reportedly officially become FaZe Clan's CFO in October.
Pahler will also work closely with FaZe Clan's executive team to develop strategies for new revenue opportunities and profit growth.
Lee Trink, CEO of FaZe Clan: "We are thrilled to have Christophe joining our team as he brings extensive financial, operational and strategic experience, as well as in-depth knowledge of the entertainment and media industry to FaZe Clan. Christophe's experience in working with high-growth companies, both public and private, will be a huge benefit for FaZe Clan as we continue to innovate as a leader in internet culture and accelerate our path to profitability."
Pachler joined FaZe Clan of Critical Content, an independent television studio in Los Angeles, where he served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. He was in charge of all financial and corporate matters and oversaw the sale of critical content by private shareholders of SK Global Entertainment in December 2021. Prior to joining Critical Content, Pachler was the chief executive and chief financial officer of Playboy Enterprises, a media and brand licensing company.
Christoph Pachler, FaZe Clan's new CFO: "Since the beginning, the FaZe Clan community has set the tone for how Gen Z consumes and creates entertainment. Now, as a public company, FaZe Clan is well positioned to accelerate its growth. I'm incredibly excited to join Lee and the amazing FaZe Clan team as we focus on expanding business opportunities and creating value for all of our stakeholders."
The new CFO becomes FaZe Clan's second high-level appointment in 2022, after Zach Katz, who became the club's president and chief operating officer in May.
